Sweet, Amelia (Died)

A resident of Grimsby for 25 years, MRs. Amelia Sweet, wife of Michael Sweet, 83 Elizabeth St., died Saturday in Hamilton General Hospital.
Mrs. Sweet was born in Portland, England 56 years ago and came to Canada in 1907. She was a member of the New Apostolic Church and belonged to Prince of Orange Lodge, LTB, No. 3, St. Catharines.
She is survived by her husband and four sisters, Mrs. Fred Phillips, Havelock; Mrs. Charles Campbell, Hamilton; Mrs. Thomas Milne, Falkenbridge and Mrs. Charles Wilkins, Grimsby; also one brother, Harry Coate, Hamilton.
Mrs. Sweet rested at the Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home. Funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. The memorial service of the LTB No. 3 was held at 7:30 Monday night in the funeral home.
