Charles Arthur Wilson, a former resident of Grimsby, died on Thursday at Toronto General Hospital, in his 49th year.
He was born at Grimsby on January 29, 1905, a son of the late William and Ida (Teeter) Wilson. Recently, he had been residing at Sixth Avenue, Weller Park, Port Weller. He had been employed as a driver for Canada Bred Company for the last 18 years.
He is survived by 3 children, Dean, William and Kay; a sister, Mrs. Reta Jones, of Sarnia; 2 brothers, George, of Port Credit and William, of Hamilton; also an aunt, Mrs. Melissa Hayhoe, of Grimsby.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John P. McLeod at the Stonehouse Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon.
Casket bearers were Reg. Dalgleish, Milton Lawson, Herbie Keir, R. MacDonald, W. Russell and H. Alexander.
Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
