Fifty United Church, Winona, where the wedding of Muriel Viola Gracey and John Rutherford Rhodes was solemnized on Saturday afternoon, August 29, was decorated for the ceremony with ferns and white gladioli. The Rev. D.E. Foster officiated, united in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E.Gracey, Grimsby, with the son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Rhodes of Chatham; and the wedding music was played by Mr. George Smith. Miss Gloria Jarvis of Grimsby was the soloist.

...Miss Phyllis Garland of Grimsby, maid of honour, and the bridesmaid, Miss Helen Rhodes of Chatham... Mr. Charles Rhodes of Chatham served as groomsman and ushers were Mr. Donald Catton, Grimsby, and Mrs. James Harper, Chatham.

Afterwards, at a reception held at El Rancho Casa Blanca, Grimsby... Mrs. and Mrs. Rhodes will live in London, Ontario where the groom is a medical student at the University of Western Ontario.
