St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Grimsby, its altar decorated with red and white summer flowers, was the setting on Saturday afternoon, July 18, for the wedding in which Barbara Anne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Pope of Grimsby Beach, became the bride of Craig Russell Shearer, son of Mrs. Shearer and the late Mr. A. Shearer of Beamsville. The Rev. E.A. Brooks officiated.

...Mrs. John Phinn...attended the bride as matron of honour. Flower girls were Susan Robinson and Carolyn Dorland...Mr. Rudy Shindle was groomsman and the ushers were Mr. George Robinson of Grimsby and Mr. Howard Sann of Beamsville... Mr. and Mrs. Shearer... will live in Beamsville.
