Full Text: In Grimsby, on Saturday, July 4, St. John's Presbyterian Church was the scene of the wedding of Mary Marguerite, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Walters, and Ronald James Smethurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Smethurst, of Hamilton. The Rev. J.P. McLeod conducted the ceremony... Attending her were her sister, Mrs. D. Mott... Miss Nona Smethurst, sister of the groom... Miss Margery Lawson of Tillsonberg... and Miss Marguerite Heywood... Miss Janet Richards, flower girl...She is a niece of the groom.

Groomsman was Mr. Donald Bacon; ushers were Mr. Leslie Walters, brother of the bride, Messrs. Emrys Richards and David Hornly...
