Karl Samuel Harrod, of Grimsby, died in West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby, on Saturday, following a heart attack earlier in the day.

In his 49th year, he was a son of Mrs. Minnie Harrod, of Grimsby and the late Robert Harrod. He was born at Lindsay and lived at Grimsby as a young man, later residing in Detroit and returning to Grimsby one year ago.

Surviving, besides his mother, are two brothers, Clyde, of Grimsby, and Glen of Hamilton; also 3 sisters, Mrs. C. McCarthy and Mrs. Victor Joyce, both of Detroit, and Mrs. Frank Cooper, of Kearney.

Funeral services were conducted from the Stonehouse Funeral Home of Monday afternoon by Rev. Dr. R.C. Duncan, with interment in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Stanley, William, Robert Harrod, Solon and Fred Burgess and Jack Scott.
