GARDEN TEA Members of St. Andrew‘s Woâ€" man‘s Auxiliary were fortunate in their choice of a day on which to hold their annual garden tea last week, for Wednesday afternoon produced ideal June weather. The rectory lawn, where the party was held, was thronged with friends from St. Alban‘s, Beamsville, and from Grimsby Baptist, St. John‘s Presbyterian and Trinity United churches, as well as from the conâ€" gregation of St. Andrew‘s. Mrs. E. A. Brooks and Mrs. F. G. Wheeler welcomed the visitors as they arâ€" rived. Mrs. L. W. B. [Broughall, Mrs. C. H. Wray, Mrs. G. H. Playle and Mrs. G. D. Morrison, Diocesan officers of the W. A. from Hamilâ€" ton, were honoured guests. 8 Pouring tea were Mrs. J. W. Unâ€" win, Mrs. Thos. Liddle, Miss H. Walsh and Mrs. F. G. Wheeler. Mrs. F. LOCKHARTâ€"TAYLOR Grace Church, St. Catharines was the scene of a quiet wedding on June 19th when Marjory, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor, was married to Pte. Donald Henderson Lockhart, son of Mr. N. J. M. Lockâ€" hart, M.P. and Mrs. Lockhart. The Reverend Alan Hill officiated and Mr. Taylor gave his daughter in marriage. The bride wore a turquoise dress with white hat and veil, white acâ€" cessories and corsage of gardenias. Mr. ard Mrs. Robert Dockstader were the attendants, Mrs. Dockâ€" stader wearing grey with black hat and corsage of pink roses.
