R.‘s â€" / Three Young Hamilton Men Found This out to Their Sorrow on Wednesday When Their Machine â€" _ Went in the Ditch Three Hamilton men and a canzo of flasks of whiskey came to grief about a mile east of GRIMSBY Beach road about 4 o‘clock Wednesday afternoon when the automobile in which they were returning westward after a trip across the river turned a number of somersaults in the road, finally twistâ€" ing itself completely to the east in a scrap heap. Eyeâ€"witnesses think the car wias travelling thirtyâ€"five or forty miles an hour when tho accident ocâ€" curred, and it was almost miraculous that the cccupants were not all killed. There is a very slight bond in the road at that point, but cars driven moderâ€" ately are in no danger of coming to grief. Two of the occuparts, well known in the (city, were severely in« jured and the bottles scattered about the place, to the great aniusement of the small crowd that soon | gathered. It happened that the 420 p. m. H. G. & B. car came along shortly afterâ€" wards and the injured men were plac ed aboard.
