She was accompanied in her first recitaâ€" tion by Miss Kennedy on the piano and Mr. Green on the violin. The singing and dancing of the Lawrie children fairly brought down the house and they were recalled again and again. These two braw Scotch laddies are about eight and nine years old, wearing the kilts and sing Scotch songs and dance Scotch dances, their father accompanying them on the piano. They are the most interesting little pair that have been seen in Grimsby for many a day. { Revival mecetings are being 12 13 11 10 Although some of the pupils were of tender age, yet they all showed the careful training, which Miss Kenâ€" nedy had given them and performed their parts so well that they did them selves and their teacher great credit. In spraying after the bloom falls, I use the lead and water separately for the codling moth, and apply liberally, with a coarse spray and high pressure, and apply the Bordeaux mixture immediatâ€" ely after in a fine misty spray, just as much as sticks on without dripping. By this method I get about 98 to 984 per cent. free from worms, and pretty free from spot. It does not contain Grain, nor farm products. Nor does it contain ‘"‘Doupe,""‘ or any other injurious ingredient. Royal Purple does not merely temporarily bloat or inspire the Animal. It fattens and strengthens it, permanently. _ They need something to prevent disease, to cure disease, and to keep them in the best of health, all the time. It is not more food your Animals need. They must have something to help their bodies get all the nourishment from the food they are getting. So that they will fatten, and stay fat, all the year ‘round. *‘Stock Food‘"‘ will not do this. Because "‘Stock Food‘‘ is nothing more or less than a mixture of the very things which you, yourself, grow on your own farm. 6 days, as there was an extra weight of milk. Royal Purple will permanently cure the Bots, Colic, Worms, Skin Diseases and Debility, and restore run â€"down Animals to plumpness and vigor. ® TRUE FENCE ECONOMY Too many purchasers of wire fencâ€" ing do not look far enough beyond the first cost. If they would only reaâ€" lize that what they are buying is so many years of fence protection not so many feet of wire, they would see that first cost has little to do with fencel economy. Saving a few cents a rod on the cost of a fence may mean knockâ€" ing several years off the length of service. Lighter wire and poorer galvanizing must naturally be expected in a cheap fence and these succumb more quickly to rust. Therefore, if the object is to purchase a fence which will last the longest instead of one whose first cost is the lowest, it is well to select carefully. My own opinion is, the vigorous condition the orchard is in, and the thorough spraying it received I pack my own apples, and prices realized are equal to those obtained by many of the best coâ€"operative associations of Ontario. a high percentage of choice fruit and keep in line with Western American neighbors, this branch of orchard work must not be neglected. In 1907 this orchard proâ€" duced 375 barrels; in 1908, 80. barâ€" rels; in 1909 over 500; and 1910, the apple crop being the greatest failure known in this district for many years, 460 barrels were. taken to the fruit house, out of which were packed 265 barrels of choice fruit of first and second grade; also 85 barrels of thirds were packed, which sold at a good price. summer, wherever it was necessary, and I concider that if we are to grow Not a Stock Food â€" JENEKINS MFG.
