DEATH OF MRS THOMAS ARTHUR KEMP : The question of electric Hight and power was taken up and discussed and after the expression of the opinions of nearly all thoase presenit, the members seemed to be unanimous in the opinion that the council should secure the present plant and arrange to buy power from either the Cataract Power Company or the Hydroâ€" Electric. The sorry part of it is that the trustees are carrying a debt of someâ€" thing like $40,000, incurred largely throUgh the additions that have been made within the past year, and that have more than doubled the accommodation of the instituâ€" tion, together with the heavy cost of mainâ€" taining so large a number of free patients. The Muskoka Free Hospital accepts paâ€" tients from any part of the Dominion, and not a single patient has ever been refused because of poverty. Ohrlohs Cure It is for the care of such sufferers as these that the Muskoka Free Hospital for Conâ€" sumptives has been built. 'nge tax on the accommodation is heavy, and the Trustees have only been able to make the large exâ€" tensions of the present year by borrowing heavily from the bank. _ An appeal is now made for funds to help on this work and provide a place where childran, such as are referred to here, may find a home with good possibilities of cure. quickly stops coughs, cures colds, heals the throat and Ilungs. â€" â€" â€" 25 cents. was stored from which the children parâ€" took. A sequel is revealed in the fact that toâ€"day one of these five children is a patient in Gravenhurst, and the baby is in the children‘s ward at the Toronto Free Hospital for Consumptives. â€" A short time ago a woman in the adâ€" vanced stages of tuberculosis died in her own home. By her death five little ones were left without the care of their mother. There was money enough in the family to make some provision for the care of the children, but it was almost impossible to secure anyâ€" one who would render this service, so afraid are many people of this dread disease. A visitor to the home says that time and time again she had found the baby sleeping in her sick mother‘s bed, and near by food POOTBALL PREE FOR SELLING PICTURE POSTCARDS and that the railway â€" commission had only authorized a reduction in :‘the case of freight from the Niagara Peninsula to the Northwest.
