Full Text

Flying Officer Barry Allan Newman was reported missing by the R.C.A.F. Tuesday night, several hours after the Mustang aircraft Newman was piloting exploded in midair and disappeared in the waters of Lake Ontario a short distance from the R.C.A.F. station at Trenton. No further details are available.

Newman's address was given as Grimsby, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred. A. Newman resided at 9 Livingston Avenue until April of this year. They now reside in St. Catharines. It is believed the Newman family moved here from Vancouver two years ago.
