Pettit were married at Grimsby on . Feb. 25, 1863. The family consisted of eight children, seven of whom are still Miving. ‘They are: Mr. Jas. W. Jackson, Stoney Creek, Ont.; Mre. Annie Jane Green, Anoka, Minn.; Mr. John W. Jackson, Ochre River, Terryberry, with a beautifully mark ed evlendid big hen.
