After a prolonged illness there passed away at her residence, 26 Mountain Street, early Wednesday morning, Elizabeth Jane Clark, wife of Charles E. Current.

Born in Oxford County, the late Mrs. Current came to Grimsby with her family from Port Colborne about 5 1/2 years ago. She was a member of the United Church, and before her illness overtook her, she was an active member of various organizations of that church.

Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Clark and William, of Toronto, and Donald, at home; two daughters, Annella, Registered Nurse, of Grimsby and Rita, of the Port Colborne teaching staff. Two brothers, Sidney Clark, of Flint, Mich., and Lauson Clark of Burford and two sisters, Mrs. William Tincknell, of Paris and Mrs. H.D. Bawtenheimer, of Drummond, Ontario also survive.

Funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from her late residence, 26 Mountain Street, with interment taking place in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Rev. R.B.Ferris of Trinity United Church, assisted by Rev. I.M. Moyer, will officiate.
