Numerous friends here where she had been a resident for many years regretted to learn of the death of Mrs. Etta Muir, widow of Thomas D. Muir, who died in St. Joseph's Hospital at Hamilton, on Saturday, after a lengthy illness, in her 76th year. She was born in South Grimsby township. Surviving are one son, Lloyd, of Caistor Centre, and one daughter, Miss Rhea M. Muir, Hamilton.
The funeral took place on Monday, service being held at Trinity United Church of which she was a former member, Rev. E.A.Earchman officiating. The service at the grave was conducted by Rev. Mr. Springer, interment being made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
