George Southward, aged 85, died at the home of his son, William, at Beamsville, on Saturday afternoon. Three sons, William and Charles, of Beamsville, and George, of Winona, and a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Beamer, of Grimsby; also one brother, William, of Pueblo, Col, survive. The funeral was held on Tuesday from Buck & Sons' funeral parlours to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby. Rev. E.F. Maunsell conducted the services, and the bearers were: Harry Crowe, William Fraser, Orton Stricker, John Shelton, Harold Freure and Ernest Sheurt.
