Charles Jarrett, owner of large business interests in South Africa and also interested in a business at Montreal, died suddenly at Beamsville Saturday night while visiting with friends. In his 66th year, he was a native of England. Much of his time was spent in South Africa. He had just returned from a trip there and arrived at Beamsville Saturday. During the evening he suffered an attack of cerebral hemorrhage and was dead before a doctor could arrive. Burial was made in Beamsville.
