Frank Grove, mechanic in the plane which crashed near Jordan, Wednesday, December 26th, died in the General Hospital December 27th. Grove was 22 years of age, and the son of W.T. and Mrs. Grove, of 506 Cannon street east. The pilot, William Van Gorder, also of Hamilton, is well on the road to recovery.

Grove was well known in aviation circles and was a licensed air engineer. He had spent several years i training and a short time ago completed his course.

Word of the accident and the fatality has been sent to the department of national defense, Ottawa, and a commission will be named to gather evidence and report to the authorities it is expected. This course is usual, but no definite word had been received.

The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon and was in charge of members of the Hamilton Aero Club.
