Vineland - Friends will regret to hear of the death of Mrs. Margaret Muir, widow of the late Thomas Wylie, in her 76th year, after quite a lengthy illness. Deceased was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church and an active worker in the same until illness prevented. She came to this place about 15 years ago, where she has since resided and where she has made many friends. She leaves five sons: Wilson, John, Samuel, and Robert of this place, and Thomas, of Glasgow, Scotland; and five daughters, Mrs. D. Bone, Mrs. D. House, Mrs. S. Cass of this place and Mrs. A. Woodwork and Mrs. J. Treston of Weyburn, Sask. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Cass, where services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Bennett of St. Catharines, assisted by Rev. Mr. Wylie, brother-in-law of the deceased, of Ailsa Craig, after which interment took place in Vineland Cemetery. The floral tributes were many and beautiful showing the high esteem in which she was held.

The pall bearers were Messrs. S.H. Fluhrer, C.J. Painter, D. McIntosh, W. Fritzshaw, J. Henderson and S. Gibson.

Mrs. Arthur Wooodwork and Mrs. J. Treston of Weyburn, Sask. attended the funeral of their mother, Mrs. Wylie, and are spending a short time with friends here.
