An esteemed citizen in the person of Mrs. Allan Merritt died at her home in Ontario Street, Beamsville, Saturday evening,in her 68th year. She was born in Clinton township, and had been a resident of the two municipalities all her life. Deceased was a member of the Disciple church and always leaned strongly towards its teachings. Her husband predeceased her some six months ago. Two sons, Curtis and Fried of Beamsville, and one daughter, Mrs. Leslie M. Wilcox of Grimsby, besides a sister, Mrs. Boughner, and a brother, William Cline, both of Beamsville, survive. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon.
