Friends and neighbors were saddened by the news of the death of Isabella Duff, wife of Robert Phillips. which took place at her home, Main Street West, North Grimsby, on Sunday, Dec. 21, 1924. Deceased had been a patient sufferer for over a year. She was born at Scone, Perth, Scotland, coming to Hamilton where she lived for 20 years, coming here 3 years ago. She leaved to mourn her loss two sons and two daughters: James of New Jersey; William, Isabella and Agnes at home. The funeral takes place Wednesday afternoon from her late residence at 2 p.m. to Queen's Lawn Cemetery for interment.
