Full Text

A quiet wedding took place at Whitevale, Ont., on Saturday, December 6, when Della, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Phipps, 27 Oak street, Grimsby, was united in marriage to William Albert Hill, son of the late W.A. Hill and Mrs. Hill of Whitevale. Rev. Thos. Radcliffe, formerly of Grimsby, performed the ceremony. The bride was attended by Miss L. Abinette, of Toronto, and the groom by the bride's brother, Lloyd Phipps, also of Toronto. The bride wore a blue suit, brown hat, trimmed with burnt goose feathers and wore fox furs, carrying roses and ferns. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom's mother, where about 30 were in attendance, after which the happy couple left for Niagara Falls, spending some time at the bride's home, after which they will reside in Toronto.
