Severely burned about the body when bedding in her crib caught fire in the early hours of December 31, Jo-Ann Warner, five-and-a-half month daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Warner, of Grimsby, died at the Sick Children's Hospital, Toronto, Tuesday morning.
The baby had shown continued signs of improvement since being rushed by provincial police to the Toronto hospital following the fire, and her death this morning came as a severe shock to the family.
Surviving besides the parents is a sister, Gerry; also her great grandmother, Mrs. W.D. Warner, and her grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. George Warner, of Grimsby, and Mrs. R. Cook, of St. Catharines.
The remains are resting at the Stonehouse Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's Church this Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment will be made in St. Andrew's Churchyard.
