A wedding of interest took place at Queen Street East Presbyterian Church, Toronto, on Saturday morning, when Eleanor, daughter of Mrs. Andrew Allison, of Beamsville, was married to Audrey Nelson Byford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Byford, of St. Catharines. Rev. W. Hardy Andrews officiated.
The bride, who was given away by Mr. W. Nursey, looked charming in brown and sand canton crepe gown, with georgette hat to match, and she carried sweet peas and sweetheart roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Nellie Byford, wore navy blue canton crepe, with hat to match and carried pink carnations. Mr. Harry Clarke acted as best man. The wedding music was played by Miss Iola Finlayson of Hamilton. The happy couple left on a motor trip to northern Ontario. On their return they will reside in Beamsville.
