Hawke, Mrs. William (Birthday: 94)

On Friday, May 16, Mrs. William Hawke, who has been a resident of Grimsby for 45 years, celebrated her 94th birthday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.M. Hazelwood, of Grimsby. Her husband, the late Rev. William Hawke, was formerly pastor of the Grimsby Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hawke was surrounded by many friends and relatives, among whom were the immediate members of the family, including Mrs. C.H. Bishop, of Toronto; Rev. F.A. Hawke, D.D., superintendent of the Manhattan district of the Methodist Episcopal Church, of Manhattan Kan., and A.F. Hawke, of Grimsby.

Although having reached this advanced age, Mrs. Hawke retains in full measure her interest in every sphere of religious and social activity. Her many friends join in wishing her many similar celebrations.
