Roszell, Storrs Bennett (Died)

One of the oldest and most highly respected citizens of Pelham passed away on Sunday, March 30th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A.R. Scallen, Pelham Corners, in the person of Storrs Bennett Roszell.
The late Mr. Roszell was born in Caistor Township 81 years ago and was the son of a U.E. Loyalist. For a long time he was a valuable member of the Canadian Order of Foresters, joining the Lodge at Grimsby and later transferring to the Fonthill Lodge.
He is survived by 3 daughters, and one son: Mrs. Simeon Smye, Hamilton; Mrs. O.G.W. Neal, Grimsby; Mrs. A.R.Scallen, Pelham Corners and Anson B. Roszell, of Thorold Township; also 2 brothers and 2 sisters survive.
The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, April 1st, to Fonthill cemetery, Rev. R.S. Boyd of Holy Trinity Church, Fonthill, officiating at the house and grave.
