The Methodist Parsonage, Winona, was on Saturday, March 29th, the scene of a quiet, but exceedingly pretty wedding, the occasion being the marriage of Evangeline, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Millen, of Fruitland, to William Robert Philip, of Hannon, the marriage ceremony being performed by Rev. A.C. Eddy, B.D. The bride was gowned in light blue flat crepe with white hat, slippers and long silk gloves, and carried a bouquet of bridal roses and lily of the valley. The bride's sister, Miss Lucille Millen, who acted a bridesmaid, was dressed in Alice blue satin crepe with silver bandeau, black satin slippers and long silk gloves and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The groom was supported by his brother, Samuel Philip. The happy couple left on the evening train for Buffalo and Rochester. On their return they will reside at Hannon.

Previous to her marriage, the bride was the recipient of a shower. Among the beautiful gifts received were a handsome cut glass water set from the young people of the Wesley Methodist Church and Fruitland community and a cut glass sugar bowl and cream jug from her Sunday school class.

The popular bride and groom have the best of good wishes from a large circle of friends.
