The home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Paget, 147 Swanwick Avenue East, Toronto, was the scene of a happy and lively gathering on Monday evening, September 17th.
The occasion was the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Paget, who have resided in the vicinity of Norway and East Toronto for many years.
Some 40 guests were present, and the host and hostess were the recipients of many beautiful and appropriate gifts of silver.
After the reception and refreshments, the evening was spent most enjoyably with songs, recitations, and speeches, many of the latter being reminiscent of the earlier days of Eastern Toronto.
During an absence from Toronto for about two years, Mr. and Mrs. Paget lived on Elm Street, Grimsby, for 18 months.
