The death occurred at his home in Beamsville, at an early hour this morning of John Plunkett Osborne, one of the district's most enterprising and prominent citizens, at the early age of 42 years.

Deceased had been in poor health for some months and his death was not entirely unexpected.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his mother, Mrs. U.B. Osborne, of Beamsville; two children, John and Mary - his wife having predeceased him - two brothers, Colin and E.B., of Hamilton.

Up to press time arrangements for the funeral had not been completed.
