Following a brief illness, George Almon Hildreth died at his home, Grimsby Beach, on Saturday.

In his 67th year, he was born at Tapleytown and had farmed most of his life, Before taking up residence at Grimsby Beach he had resided at Stoney Creek and in North Grimsby township.

He was a member of Trinity United Church, Grimsby.

Surviving, besides his wife, the former Lillian Cable, are his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Hildreth, Grimsby Beach, three sons and two daughters: Harley, of Stoney Creek; John, of Grimsby; Murray, of Beamsville; Mrs. Allen Shoesmith, Hamilton; and Mrs. Bert Foreman, Stoney Creek; also 12 grandchildren.

Funeral was held from his late residence on Tuesday afternoon, with interment being made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
