After an illness of many months' duration, there passed to her heavenly home on Monday, May 14th, a bright young life in the person of Mary Letty, third daughter of E.W. and Mrs. Burgoyne, at the early age of 15 years. The little girl was taken ill last fall and after an operation it was thought that she would fully recover, but this spring she grew worse again and in spite of the best of attention and medical skill, passed away on Monday. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her parents, three sisters. The funeral took place on Wednesday, May 16th, from the residence of her parents to St. Andrew's Anglican Church where services were conducted by Rev. J. Allan Ballard, interment taking place in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
