Mrs. Ellen Amelia Turner, 56, wife of Albert Charles Palmer, 1121 King Street West, Hamilton, passed away Thursday afternoon in St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of England, Mrs. Palmer resided in Hamilton since 1937, previous to which she was a resident of Grimsby for many years. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Dundas, and the Women's Auxiliary of the church. Besides her husband, there survives one daughter, Audrey, of the R.C.A.F. (W.D.), Hamilton; two brothers, William W. Turner, Grimsby, and Fred Turner, St. Catharines, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Brown, Beamsville, and Mrs. Joseph Filce, Beamsville. The remains rested at the J.B. Marlatt funeral home for service at 2 p.m. Saturday, interment being in St. Andrew's Church Cemetery, Grimsby.
