OF interest to a large circle of friends was the pretty wedding solemnized at "Ridgemount" on the Ridge Road, North Grimsby, on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 3 o'clock when Anna Laura, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Althouse, was united in marriage to Andrew D. Althouse, of Detroit, Mich., the ceremony being performed by the Rev. J.A. Dilts. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore Spanish lace over ivory satin, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses, lily-of-the-valley and baby's breath. His sister, Miss Margaret Althouse, played Wagner's Wedding March, from "Lohengrin". After lunch, served on the lawn to over 50 guests, the happy couple left, amid showers of good wishes, for a motor trip to Muskoka, the bride wearing a navy tricotine suit, with hat to match. On their return, they will reside at 314 Baldwin Avenue, Royal Oak, Detroit.
