A wedding took place at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Grimsby, on Tuesday afternoon, when Margaret Helen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Book, Grimsby, was united in marriage to George Marr of Winona. The officiating minister was Rev. J. Allan Ballard, of Grimsby. The church was beautifully decorated in lavender and white. The bride wore a gown of white charmante and georgette with pearl trimmings; court train and veil with orange blossoms and carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and lilies of the valley. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a diamond and ruby ring. The bridesmaid, Miss Caroline G. Smith, was dressed in coral pink georgette, picture hat with coral trimmings, and carried a bouquet of sunset roses. The bridegroom's gift to the bridesmaid was a string of pearls. The bridegroom was attended by his cousin, George Marr, of London. The bridegroom's gift to the best man was a signet ring. The ushers were Mr. Robert Kitchen, of Grimsby, and Captain Valentine Stevenson of Winona. The wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Lakeside, 75 guests being present. The bride and bridegroom left immediately after for a short motor trip, the bride travelling in a suit of navy blue tricotine with hat to match.
