Mrs. Hattie M. Althouse, aged 44 years, wife of Elmer Crown, died in Hamilton on Wednesday evening, Jan. 4, 1922, after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Crown of Beamsville and two sisters, Mrs. Isaac Merritt of Smithville and Mrs. Adam Dilts of St. Anns. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Althouse of Campden. The remains were conveyed from A.H. Dodsworth and company's chapel on Thursday morning, via G.T.R. to Beamsville, where interment took place.
