Five days after his brother, William, was buried in Grimsby, Daniel York died at his home in Rochester, N.Y., on Monday, July 18, 1921, in his 75th year. Daniel was the eldest son and resided in Grimsby for many years, where he married Elberta Cole who predeceased him about 30 years and of which union three children survive: Truman of Drummondville, Ont., Mrs. William Barnett and Mrs. William Cass of Rochester. About 25 years ago, Mr. York remarried to Mrs. Sarah Sullivan who survives as also two sisters as mentioned above. [obituary of William York] Two nephews, Wesley and George, drove to Rochester on Tuesday, and the funeral will take place here on Thursday.
