Beamsville Express - The death occurred on Tuesday, December 7th of a life-long resident of Beamsville in the person of Mrs. E.J. Amiss, aged 69 years. The deceased had been ailing for some time and about two weeks ago suffered a paralytic stroke which caused her death. She was born in Beamsville and resided here all her life, and her friends sincerely regret her demise, and extend sympathy to the bereaved husband and family. Besides her husband, three children by her first marriage survive: Mrs. Wm. Shaw of Beamsville; Mrs. Fred Hilton, Batavia, N.Y.; Mr. Wm. Culp, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. R. Culp of Niagara Falls, N.Y.
