Senske, Mr. and Mrs. C.F. (Anniversary: 50)

On Saturday, June 26, 1920, Mr.and Mrs. C.F. Senske of Jordan, Ont. formed the happy centre of a scene of pleasing festivities when they celebrated the anniversary of their Golden Wedding. Their cozy home, together with the spacious home and lawn of their son, Mr. A.A. Senske, made an ideal setting. After a very appropriate and touching address by Rev. C.F. Dauphin of Jordan and the presentation of a purse of gold in behalf of the children and their families by Mr. H. Sunderman of Nebraska, a son-in-law, the guests, numbering about 135 were ushered to the west lawn where five tables, laden with good things prepared by loving hands, were laid...Mr. and Mrs. Senske, both at the age of 74 are enjoying comparatively good health, and still have their family of eight children spared to them with 31 grandchildren and two great grandchildren...
