Wylie, Agnes (Died)

The death occurred on Thursday last of one of Grimsby's oldest citizens, in the person of Mrs. Agnes Wylie, at the age of 85 years. The deceased lady was the relict of the late Wm. Wylie, who predeceased her 36 years. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to St. Catharines 56 years ago and moved to Grimsby with her husband a few years later. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. A.H. Hewson, to mourn her loss. The funeral, which was largely attended, was held on Saturday afternoon, to St. John's Presbyterian church cemetery.
