Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stevenson of 2699 Coriven Crescent, Niagara Falls, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 11. Their three children attended public and high school in Grimsby - Margaret, Mrs. Roy K. Jones of North Vancouver, B.C.; Isabel, Mrs. L. Morris Richardson of Weston, Ontario; and Dr. Ian L. Stevenson of Ottawa. There are nine grandchildren. The Stevensons moved to Niagara Falls at the end of the second World War, when Mr. Stevenson joined the staff of the Customs and Excise. He has since retired. As open house was held Saturday, June 13, at the home of Mrs. Richardson, in honor of the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson lived in Grimsby for 20 years. Mr. Stevenson was a grocer for Mr. D.E. Anderson, also had his own store on Depot Street for a time. The family attended St. John's Presbyterian Church, and both daughters were married there.
