Many friends will regret to learn of the death of Mr. Courtland High, which took place at Jordan Friday at the age of 67 years. He was born in Clinton Township and resided in the district during his lifetime. He was a staunch Reformer. He was a well known and successful agricultural implement agent and had formed a large circle of friends. One son in the Northwest survives as well as his widow, who was a daughter of the late Abraham Martin, for many years Clerk of the Township of Louth.
