Charlie Cole who for the past number of years has been residing in Hamilton, died at his home there on Friday morning. He had been in ill health for only a couple of weeks and was in his 56th year. Mr. Cole or "Charlie" as he was commonly called was an old Grimsby boy, having been born here and conducted a shoe business here for a number of years. The deceased gentleman was married to a Miss. Durham, a sister of Mrs. Geo. VanDyke and Mr. Mathais Durham, of Grimsby. He was a son of the late George Cole.
