- Description
- This sepia-toned postcard shows the Lake View Hotel, probably from the front. Directly behind the photographer would be the drop to the shore. It shows the three floors of the hotel, the front porch, and the many trees which surrounded the hotel. There are also a few stumps from removed trees.
- Notes
- Lake View Hotel was located at the end of Betts Avenue, with a view of the lake. It burned to the ground in 1918. Note the fire escape ladders extending from the third floor to the second floor.
