Beamsville lost one of the oldest citizens in the death of Mrs. Davis, which occurred at the residence of her son George on Thursday morning last. The deceased who was well known and deeply beloved...grand old age of 90 years, and had enjoyed remarkably good health until a very short time before her death. The funeral which was very largely attended took place on Sunday from the home of Mr. Geo. Davis, the services both at the house and at the grave being conducted by the Rev. Mr. Brown, pastor of the Baptist Church, and in sympathetic terms to the noble and exemplary life of the aged deceased. Besides a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sons and one daughter, Mrs. Jacob Fawell , Messrs. Geo. and David Davis are left to mourn the loss of a true and loving mother.
