Caistor Township lost one of its most highly esteemed persons on Thursday evening, Dec. 29, when the "Grim Reaper" removed Mrs. Maria Felker of Wilcox, from her earthly home. Mrs. Felker has been in poor health for the past year, but her death was unexpected and was a great shock to her relatives and friends. The deceased lady was the relict of the late David Felker, and leaves three children to mourn her sudden demise. They are; Wm. of Wilcox (at whose home she passed away); Mrs. J. Wadge of Wilcox and Peter of North Grimsby. Mrs. Felker was in her 70th year and was a woman who endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact. The funeral took place from the home of her son to Merritt Settlement Cemetery on Sunday afternoon.
