The news of the death of Ethel, daughter of H.G. Millgate at her home in Toronto Junction on Monday, was a great shock to her large number of friends here, as it was not generally known that she was dangerously ill. Deceased contracted a cold during the Christmas holidays and, having settled on her lungs, it only required a few short months for quick consumption to claim another victim. The remains were brought to Grimsby via GTR on Wednesday morning and in the afternoon the funeral took place from the home of her grandfather, S. Oakley, to Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Rev. J.W. Pady, of Toronto Junction conducted the service, assisted by Rev. Mr. Cohoe. The pallbearers were; E.H. Culp, A. and M. Secor, F. Oakes, A. Bourne, and E. Norton.
