The social gathering of the Beamer family took place on Thursday evening, 25th inst., at the beautiful home of Barzilla Beamer, to welcome Jacob H. Beamer, now the eldest living member of the family, to the home of his childhood. Not only was he there but all his brothers, their wives, his sisters, their husbands, and nearly all their children were present. Mr. Beamer's 3 daughters; Mrs. H. House, St. Thomas, Mrs. W.F. Secord of Chicago, Mrs. F. Tallman and husband of Beamsville were present; also Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Smith of Campden, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Russ, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Russ, I.F.
