Metcalfe, Leigh (Died)

The funeral of the late Leigh Metcalfe took place this afternoon from the family residence on the Ridge Road, and was very largely attended. People were present from all parts of the country. Police officials, Department of Highways officials and motorcycle traffic officers, together with officials of the town and township, neighbours and friends came to pay their last tribute and to offer sympathy to the bereaved parents and family. Rev. G.W. Wood officiated at the house and graveside...The following were pallbearers: Kenneth Baxter, Solon Burgess, G. Konkle, George MacKay, Earl Marsh, Wallace Bromley...
