The wedding was solemnized quietly on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, in the manse of St. John's Presbyterian Church, Grimsby, of Phyllis Isobel, daughter of Mr. R.C. Duffield and the late Mrs. Duffield of Grimsby, and Mr. Lyle Delos Luey, son of Mrs. Luey and the late Mr. Charles Luey of Grimsby. Rev. Francis McAvoy officiated. ... Mrs. Arthur Luey, sister-in-law of the groom ... was matron of honour. Mr. Leslie Luey, twin brother of the groom, was best man. ... They will reside in Grimsby. The groom was one of four brothers serving overseas, and with his twin brother, was taken prisoner while fighting with the RHLI at Dieppe, being held in prison camps until the war ended.
