A pretty autumn wedding was solemnized on Oct. 17 at St. John's Presbyterian Church in Grimsby, when Catharine Louise, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross G. Smith of Grimsby, became the bride of Kenneth William, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Phillips of Beamsville. Rev. J.R. Duke officiated...Maid of honor was Miss Joan Giernat of Grimsby. The bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Miss Jeanne Smith, Miss Sharon O'Grady, and the groom's sister, Miss Valerie Phillips...The flower girls, Misses Cindy Dolan and Doreen Smith...The best man was Dr. Joe Lampman of Beamsville. The ushers were Arnold Annable, Mike Watt, Bruce Keoun and John Phillips...They will make their home in Grimsby.
