Death of Anthony Faul, Grimsby Austrian farm worker, in his cell at Hamilton jail early Wednesday was due to strangulation caused by deceased own hands, a jury under Chief Coroner Dr. J.H. Mullin reported after the story of the 67 year old prisoner's tragic end was told by several witnesses at the inquest held in Central Police station...Faul, arrested on Feb 24th, on a charge of receiving in connection with Provincial Police investigation into Orchard Beach house robberies, was scheduled to appear before Judge William F. Schwenger Thursday afternoon. He leaves a wife in the old country. He was buried in St. Joseph's R.C. church, Grimsby,[ed:service at St. Joseph's?] on Monday March 21st. Interment in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Father Webster officiated.
